This year I finally get to go back to Taiping during CNY, thanks to my MIL who helped to take care of my little Bhui. We left KL at about noon and reached Taiping at half past three. As expected, Byan is very sticky to me especially since grand-mama didn't follow and everyone else in Taiping are not so familiar to her. She won't want anyone else to carry her except for myself and hubby, that also most of the time is only me myself.
So, we tried to make her feel being home by bringing all her toys back and let her have her favourite ride-on-shoulder, which Grandpa normally does. This is how happy and excited she can be:

I am also very happy to have my good old friends over, reason being it is not so convenient for me to go out with baby. My best friends: En Jee and sister, Evelyn, Li Chen, Yoke Yin, Su Ann, Wei Wan and Neeta came to visit me and my Byan. However, I only remembered to take photos of a few of them...

My parents have prepared steamboat for the night and this year it was a little special, we had it "outside the house". My dad came with the idea of having it in the porch since we have so many people this year: my sis and husband, myself, hubby and Byan, my parents and Jason and my cousin brother and family from KL. We enjoyed ourselves very much since we have not met for almost two years now.

My goodness, look at how hungry Jason can be..must be very tasty that everyone can't wait to eat

This is what my parents have prepared....look better than the ones we had in restaurants huh?
